RAI FILM FESTIVAL 2019, Royal Anthropological Institute – London, UK

Graphic Design – Editing and graphic design of a 52 pages published Festival catalogue, programme flyer,  publicity material, posters, banners.

HUMAN RIGHTS NIGHTS – Bologna, Italy

Founder, Festival Direction – Curated all aspects of communication and event management – from strategy of communication, to liaising with creative agencies, press office, filmmakers, photographers for the visual image and reportage of the festival. The festival itself is a campaign for human rights. Designing of all printed materials – ADV, Posters, billboards, program flyers

FONDAZIONE MAST – Bologna, Italy

Film and Events Curator – Curated 6 months of film events on climate change and the environment alongside the exhibition Anthropocene –  an art project investigating the indelible human footprint on the Earth through the astounding images of Edward Burtynsky, Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas de Pencier.

CINETECA DI BOLOGNA – Bologna, Italy

Film and Events programming – Curated and promoted programming for Cinema Lumière, special events and festivals of global cinema, migration and human rights. Organised conferences, research for restoration of archive films from Africa and the Arab world. 

OXFAM GB – Oxford, UK

Global Campaign Manager – represented Oxfam in a global campaign of a wide coalition of NGOs, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, a project initiated by Annie Lennox and promoted by The Circle, UK. Organised special events at ICA London and Up the Ritzy in Brixton, alongside Human Rights Watch festival. 

AMITIE – Bologna, Italy

Senior Campaign Manager – coordinated a transnational European communication campaign to represent the nexus between migration and development, showcasing the reality of positive impact of migration for both the origin and receiving countries of migration. Across 4 cities, Bologna, Bucharest, Riga and Seville, a campaign was developed with refugees as protagonists of their stories and representations through films, animation, photography, arts exhibitions, culinary community events, conferences, and a final festival.   

As part of a second phase of the project a DVD collection of 12 films was prepared, translated in all languages of partner countries, to share as education material for schools and informal education on migration.

ATELIER JULIETA MANASSAS – Bologna, Italy

Brand development, event management – devised a strategy of communication for promotion of Julieta Manassas as a fashion designer and for the brand positioning of Atelier Julieta Manassas, creation of web commerce site, photographic shooting for the catalogue of fashion collections, up to the participation of Julieta Manassas to the African Fashion Show in London 2018 with the entire collection. 

MERCATINO VERDE DEL MONDO – Bologna, Italy

Founder, Producer – creation of a culinary, creative plural space that reflects the new (g)local culture. Set in parks or squares of the city of Bologna, this was a 2 months long summer festival of street food, gourmet cuisines from the world and local traditions, cinema, music, dance, sport and nature. All aspects of organisation, management, curation, promotion. 

SOHAYA VISIONS – UK

Publicity and Promotion for various theatre performances including Agathe, Bodies, Kama SCi-fi, Lalon: Heart of Madness, Terror, Silent Sisters, Brothers Unhinged, Graphic design for all promotional material. 

NOINO.ORG / Fondazione del Monte, Associazione Orlando, Studio Talpa, Comunicattive – Bologna, Italy

Coordinator of the initial phases of the communication campaign – from a research on domestic violence to the creation of a call for a communication campaign, selection of winning agencies, supervising the creation of the first campaign for informal education of what is violence against women, and for the promotion of a community of men against violence on women.

FUCSIA – Bologna, Italy

Founder, Producer – a project for a creative cultural space in the women centre garden: an  artistic opportunity to celebrate women’s plural creativity in the city of Bologna, through music, photography, cinema, arts, performance, cuisine and playing. In collaboration with Bologna Women Centre, Associazione Orlando, Human Rights Nights, local city council. 

GLOBAL BLACK LIVES MATTER – London, UK

Production of a Visual essay as a global journey of the multiple demonstrations of protest and solidarity across the world, reflecting on how Black Lives Matter sparked actions of solidarity and demands for justice against police violence – everywhere connected by widespread inequality and institutional racism. In just one week hundreds of thousands of people mobilised and held protests in all fifty states of the United States and around the world.

LE BAOBAB CUISINE – Brighton, UK

Brand creation, positioning, promotion. Graphic design publicity, interior design arts, digital media marketing. Positioning from start up to ‘one of the places to go’ in Brighton, 5 starts reviews on TripAdvisor and Google, awards and certificates as best restaurant. 

AFRICANBAMBA – Thiaroye, Senegal

Mentoring and general management for the set up and running for 5 years (2012-2016) of a human rights film festival in Thiaroye, Dakar in Senegal. Through the festival programming, alliances and activities, the community of Thiaroye learnt of the concepts of human rights and how these apply to their everyday life, with a special focus on women and children. Health events, for the promotion of wellbeing in collaboration with Marie Stopes International. Transversal events, bridging embassies activities with local women and youth organisations – ie for migration, domestic violence, empowerment with Dutch Embassy and Italian Cooperation Agency. 

CLAM FILMS – Francia

Consultancy for positioning of film producers and projects within the global film industry, creation of communication reports, grants writing, PR and networking. Development producer for new feature film projects. Promotion of Clam Mag through events and workshops, showcasing the work of Andy Amadi Okoraofor.

GOOD PITCH, DOC SOCIETY – London, UK

European Outreach Project – liaising with NGOs, Foundations, producers and broadcasters, cultural institutions to support the development of a campaign for social change alongside a documentary film production.

LAKE COMO FILM FESTIVAL – Como, Italy

The Lake Como Film Festival, held until 2022, celebrated the connection between cinema and nature. With screenings, workshops, and events set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Como, it showcased films inspired by landscapes and explored environmental and artistic themes.

THEMATIC AND EXPRESSIVE ARTISTIC ELABORATION – Oriana Emma, Italy

Conceptual digital creations, addressing social, political, and aesthetic dimensions, utilizing generative art technology. Each piece also carries a narrative imprint, whether in panels or in expressive and artistic syntheses.

CONCEPT \ DIGITAL ART – Marco Grà, Italy

Combining photography with digital painting techniques and generative art, abstract and figurative artworks intended for businesses, private individuals, and interior designers.
